Dr. James Craig is a lifelong resident of Newtown, Connecticut, where he grew up and still calls home. After completing his bachelor's degree in kinesiology at the University of Rhode Island in 2020, he embarked on his professional journey as an exercise specialist at a physical therapy clinic. Here, Dr. Craig discovered the profound impact of conservative care on musculoskeletal health as he collaborated on tailored rehabilitation programs for each patient. This hands-on experience ignited his passion for holistic approaches, emphasizing not only pain relief but also overall well-being. Dr. Craig has additionally received extra training in acupuncture and incorporates it into patients care plans to help manage their symptoms.
After graduating with his bachelors he decided to continue his education at the University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic, graduating summa cum laude in May 2024. Throughout his chiropractic education, he engaged in diverse clinical settings, including rotations at the VA and Community Health Center. These experiences broadened his expertise in treating a wide range of conditions, further solidifying his commitment to providing comprehensive and individualized care. Dr. Craig employs a multifaceted approach to address musculoskeletal issues effectively. In addition, he integrates rehabilitative exercises into his treatment plans, empowering patients to play an active role in their recovery and long-term well-being. When he is not the office he enjoys golfing either on the course or at the driving range. He additionally enjoys the outdoors through hiking, kayaking, and going to the beach to relax. He likes to stay moving with exercise at the gym, playing basketball, soccer, or other sports with friends.
